My name is Jeff Daniels.  I am a program director  leader at Lockheed Martin.  I am responsible for corporate strategy  with a focus on disruptive technology and global technology trends.  I enjoy researching and writing about emerging technology.

My main interests are cloud computing artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum computing, industrial manufacturing and automation, and cybersecurity.


​I am known as a catalyst in the aerospace and defense industry  for a series of innovative “firsts”:
  • First AWS Partner to deploy GreenGrass/IOT Core on GovCloud
  • Deployed the Defense Industry's first Intelligent Factory
  • Designed & implemented first Blockchain electronic ledger for Lockheed Martin and industrial base
  • Designed & implemented the defense industry’s first Hybrid Product Support Integration (HPSI) facility
  • Published the first doctoral dissertation on cloud computing
  • Deployed first x86 virtualization systems for Lockheed Martin
  • Designed Lockheed Martin’s first Internet-facing portal in support of the National Reconnaissance Office
  • Implemented the largest Microsoft Exchange deployment ever

I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Technology Management and my dissertation was the first on cloud computing and cybersecurity; specifically how we manage identities in cloud computing environments and traditional physical locations.

I am Professor of Cybersecurity at the UMGC Graduate School of Technology & Management.  I am on the board of directors at the UCF School of Computer Science & Industrial Engineering.
